LL‐FMC: Low‐latency frame memory compression scheme with high reconstructed quality

چکیده
Frame memory compression (FMC) saves power by reducing the data bandwidth for accessing reference frames of video coding standards in external memory. However, since continuously accumulated loss degrades performance standards, quality reconstructed frame must be improved. Previous lossy methods focused on processing speed or simplicity, but their remains limited terms frame. In this study, a Huffman with fixed codebook designed to considerably reduce latency caused arithmetic lossless schemes is proposed. A novel technique based Hadamard transform that does not require additional access using lookup table also The result experiments several videos preprocessed HEVC show proposed method improves BDPSNR 10.7 dB and BDBR 40.4% compared DWT+SPIHT-based which widely used compression.
